I am not a licensed therapist (yet). Are there any minimum requirements to become a member?

The Nijenhuis eAcademy is founded for professionals. A minimum level of knowledge of psychology and dissociation is expected. Group discussions and LIVE Sessions are moderated to ensure that Ellert addresses questions that are relevant to most members.

We do not encourage patients to join the eAcademy as it may be a disappointing experience.

Can I receive an invoice?

Yes, during the registration process you can enter your clinic / professional details which will be stated on the invoice.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your membership before the start of a new billing cycle. This is either before the next month, if you had chosen to pay by month. Or before the next year, if you had opted for an annual payment of your membership.

Can I temporarily freeze my membership?

Memberships cannot be frozen nor do we provide refunds (i.e. for non-usage). You can cancel your membership before the start of a new billing cycle, which is either before the next month or before the next year of your membership.

Should you cancel your membership, you waive your benefit of a promotional membership fee you may be enjoying. When you rejoin the eAcademy at a later stage, you will have to accept the membership rate that are then on offer.

Can I receive accreditation or continued education (CE) points?

Local legislation makes it too cumbersome for us to arrange accreditation to professionals based outside of The Netherlands. We therefor have chosen to focus on improving the quality of our teaching instead of arranging accreditation in the different countries of our members.

Is there referral program?

YES, for every eAcademy member that mentions you as a referrer in response to the “Getting started” e-mail, you receive a complimentary month of membership.

Exceptions are when the referred member is or was on our mailing list or has already been a member of the Nijenhuis eAcademy.
